Located in Colleton County where the Edisto River, one of the longest free-flowing blackwater rivers in North America, completes its 206-mile journey to the Atlantic Ocean.

Everyday, the Edisto Chamber of Commerce works to enhance the quality of life and economic well-being of the citizens of Edisto by working with local businesses and community leaders as a visible source of information to the public.   The Chamber is also a source of support to its membership by assisting and promoting the business interests of Edisto with an emphasis on tourism and responsible, environmentally conscious growth

Edisto Beach State Park features trails for hiking and biking that provide a wonderful tour of the park. The park’s environmental education center is a “green” building with exhibits that highlight the natural history of Edisto Island and the surrounding ACE Basin.
For overnight accommodations, furnished cabins sit nestled in the woods, and campsites can be found along the Edisto Island oceanfront or in the shaded maritime forest.
